Fried Fish

Fried fish is a popular and delicious dish eaten daily by Vietnamese people. It is quite simple to make the dish and all ingredients are easily available.

Ingredients:

- Fish: 1kg

- Cucumber, houttuynia, fresh chilli, green pineapple, drill, green star-fruit

- Fish sauce with fresh chilli, garlic, lemon juice and sugar

Preparations:

- Clean and gut the fish. Submerge it in salt water for 15 minutes and let it dry. Cut slightly on the two sides of the fish’s body. Drop the fish into hot cooking oil and fry over a low heat until tender and brown. Place the fish on a plate decorated with vegetables.

- To make the sauce for the dish, mix fish sauce with sugar, lemon juice, grinded garlic and fresh chilli.

- The dish is popular in summer and usually served with rice, pickled egg-plant and crab soup.
